The Careers & Employability team are now accepting applications for their Design Your Future Enterprise Fund.
Awards between £500-£5000 are available to successful University of Liverpool students who want to develop an early-stage business idea or existing enterprise.
You don’t need to have a start-up already running, but you will need to supply a business plan to show how the funding will help you develop your idea.
Examples of activities the fund can support include:
- Specialist equipment for your business
- Technical equipment, such as laptops, and headphones
- Recruitment of staff
- Training or short courses directly related to business
- Marketing activities
- Professional body membership
- Software packages
- Accountancy services
- Support contracted companies to undertake work, e.g. website design
- Business development activity
The deadline for applications is Monday 31 May 2021. Funding is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, and so early applications are encouraged.
