Free access to fiction, film, magazines and non-fiction books

The Library has recently introduced a new eBook platform to provide students and staff with access to leisure reading and wellbeing collections in the form of eBooks and audiobooks.

The new resources can be accessed online via the OverDrive platform using your university login or by downloading the Libby App for iOS or android.

OverDrive’s collection includes titles in:

  • Biography
  • Business
  • History
  • Literature
  • Technology
  • Theology
  • Travel

Fiction genres include:

  • Mystery
  • Fantasy
  • Romance
  • Young Adult
  • Science Fiction

The platform also provides access to reading lists curated by the Library on a variety of topics including Anti-Racism, Transgender Visibility, Wellbeing and more.

The Library has created a dedicated webpage to highlight the leisure reading collections available to you, including additional resources such as magazines and newspapers, free online films and even TV shows.
