The Library has recently introduced a new eBook platform to provide students and staff with access to leisure reading and wellbeing collections in the form of eBooks and audiobooks.
The new resources can be accessed online via the OverDrive platform using your university login or by downloading the Libby App for iOS or android.
OverDrive’s collection includes titles in:
Fiction genres include:
The platform also provides access to reading lists curated by the Library on a variety of topics including Anti-Racism, Transgender Visibility, Wellbeing and more.
The Library has created a dedicated webpage to highlight the leisure reading collections available to you, including additional resources such as magazines and newspapers, free online films and even TV shows.
If you’re feeling like you need a break from your recommended academic reading, explore our leisure reading collections to try something a little lighter, read a new popular novel or learn about a new topic.
Browse the collections now.
Check out the new Book Discussion Forum. You can share reading suggestions with other students and ask for recommendations for your next book.
Help us build collections that reflect the resources you want to read by recommending new titles for the Library to purchase in OverDrive.
