From Friday, 18 June, all those aged 18 and over in England are invited to book their COVID-19 vaccination.
We recognise that the benefits of vaccination against the ongoing threat of COVID-19 are immense, and offer the prospect, over time, of the removal of the restrictions we all currently face – but it is clear that this does depend on us all playing our part by accepting the offer of vaccination. This is not only to protect ourselves, but also for the safety of others, given the evidence shows vaccination reduces the risk of person-to-person transmission.
For these reasons, we encourage all our students to accept a vaccination if offered one, please keep checking eligibility and book directly on the NHS website.
International students studying in the UK are eligible for the vaccine while in the country. Please remember that you need to be registered with a GP before you can get your vaccination, or any medical treatment, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible if you haven’t already, to avoid potential delays.
