If you haven’t found your accommodation or housemates for next year there’s no need to worry or feel pressured to join a group with people you don’t know that well.
Liverpool has lots of student accommodation available, which means that there will always be properties available no matter when you decide to start your search.
Take your time to compare prices and locations right across the city to make sure you’re getting the best deal for you, and give yourself plenty of time to find others who you really gel with, before making the decision to live with them.
Virtual housing talk
The team from Liverpool Student Homes (LSH) are delivering a virtual information event on Thursday 25 November that will be full of practical tips and advice for anyone looking for private accommodation for next year. They’ll cover everything from where to look, how to find the right housemates, and how to search for accredited student accommodation, plus advice with housing contracts.

Find a housemate – virtually
This year, the LSH team are running their find a housemate meet-ups via Zoom.
If you’re looking for potential housemates you can chat with other students, and leave your details for others to contact you. These events are a great way to form a group, or find a room in LSH accredited accommodation. If you are trying to leave a tenancy and need to find another student to replace you in your contract, you can join the meeting to advertise your room.
Please note only rooms that are in LSH accredited properties can be advertised, so if you’re unsure please contact LSH prior to the events to check.
