The University is pleased to announce that a month-long programme of wellbeing events and activities will run next month.
Feel Good February, which will replace Wellbeing Week usually held in May, is a free programme for all students and staff to take part in running from 1 – 28 February 2022.
The programme is structured around the 6 ways to wellbeing: Connect, Be active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give, Be Sustainable, with events aligned to each of these themes.

If you don’t already have it, we also recommend you download the My Liverpool app for quick and easy access to the events programme and registration information. This app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play.
Highlights from the month will include:
- Refreshers Fair at the Guild, running on 1 February this will be an opportunity to find out more about the Guild, meet a mix of societies, charities with volunteering opportunities and commercial organisations.
- Student Support Services Fair, running on 1 February on Guild Walk, come along to find out how the University of Liverpool can help and support you in Feelgood February and beyond.
- Sport Liverpool’s Campus 5k, Run For All and Wellbeing Walks.
- Time to Talk Day, come along to University Square on 3 February to meet with our Peer Mentors and enjoy refreshments at our pop-up café.
- Safer Internet Day, on 8 February we will be running sessions with our digital coaches to help you stay safe online.
- Tea talk – Friend Making sessions – Hosted by the Guild, grab a hot drink, cosy spot and fire up your phone or laptop – it’s time to make some zoom BFFs from the comfort of your own living space.
- Dementia Friends Sessions, during this informal and interactive session you’ll learn more about dementia, how it affects a person and what you can do to help people.
- National Pizza Day, 9 February – Feelgood February is all about taking time to enjoy life…so what better way than by heading to University Square to celebrate National Pizza Day!
- Feel Good February Prize Draws – win vouchers from local businesses including Free State Kitchen, Root House Plants, and Liverpool Philharmonic.

Do ‘one thing’ next month
Throughout the year everyone is encouraged to take some time to find ways to relax, socialise and improve your overall physical and mental health as much as possible. This Feel Good February, staff and students are challenged to ‘do one thing’ and to set a realistic, achievable goal that will help you feel good without piling on pressure – it could be to attend one event from the programme, to pick one of the 6 ways to wellbeing to focus on, or to set your own goal e.g. go for a walk on a certain day each week.
