Liverpool Life access restored

Access to Liverpool Life has now been restored after being suspended as a result of an IT security threat.

Following extensive work by IT Services staff, working closely with the supplier, the threat has been addressed and measures put in place to enhance the security and resilience of the service.

We are aware of an intermittent issue when accessing the services using Firefox. Please use Edge or Chrome web browser while the team continue work to resolve this issue.

We understand the difficulties that this loss of access may have caused and would like to thank you for your patience during this period.

The University has been made aware of a major security threat, which has the potential to impact Liverpool Life.

The supplier issued a major security alert to all customers. Due to the severity of the threat, access to the service has been temporarily suspended.

IT Services is currently working closely with the supplier to mitigate this threat. Please be assured that all efforts are being taken to restore access as soon as it is possible and safe to do so.
