Free access to the Sports Centre, 23 May – 1 June

During the exam and assessment period, all students can use the University gym, swimming pool, sports halls and squash courts for free.

The offer will run from Monday, 23 May to Wednesday, 1 June from 7am – 11am and 2pm – 4pm weekdays and all day during the weekend.

To take advantage of this offer you must take your student card each time you use the facility. You will need to complete a health disclaimer the first time you use the facility which is available at the Sports Centre reception.

Any current student can use the facilities even if you’ve not used the University’s Sports Centre before. Staff will give you a warm welcome and provide you with all the information, advice and support you need to get started.

Speaking about the Sport Liverpool initiative Sport Development Officer, Ryan Swinney, said: “It is well known that a sensible amount of exercise can help boost concentration and reduce stress. Revision, exams and coursework deadlines can be tough so we are hoping to give our students the chance to de-stress and take a break from revision by opening our doors free of charge.”
