As part of our Feel Good February Sustainability Week, we are inviting you to give your wardrobe a clear out and donate any unwanted items to a good cause.
We have partnered with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to help students and staff donate unwanted clothes, shoes, and other items through the provision of BHF banks in the reception areas of the Harold Cohen and Sydney Jones Libraries.
The donation points will be available on campus until Tuesday 28 February.
By donating your unwanted items, you help divert waste going to landfill. Last year students in the UK diverted the equivalent weight of 142 double decker buses from landfill.
Not only is donating good for the environment, BHF estimates that each bag raises up to £14 for vital research and supports a range of local services, such as programmes for Heartstart.
Thank you for your support. For more information on British Heart Foundation and its work please visit its website.
