If you’re a postgraduate research student and you haven’t taken part in the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey, this is your last chance – the survey closes on Monday, 22 May 2023.
To say thank you for taking part in the survey, you’ll be entered into a prize draw where you could win a £50 Starbucks voucher or a £50 Deliveroo voucher (terms and conditions below).
The short survey, which should take 10- 15 minutes to complete, will ask you to share your views about resources, research skills, the research community and supervision. Please be assured that your responses will remain anonymous.
The survey, run by Advance HE, is the only UK higher education sector-wide survey to gain insight from postgraduate research students about their learning and supervision experience.
How do I take part in the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey?
All postgraduate research students at the University of Liverpool are eligible to take part. You will have received an email to your University address from our Student Opinion Team on Monday, 24 April with your unique link to take part in the survey. This link will allow you to access and complete the survey.
Why should I take part?
The survey collects the views of research students at universities across the UK and we use your feedback to improve the learning experience and guide changes at the University.
Prize draw terms and conditions
Every student who completes the survey will automatically be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a £50 Starbucks voucher or a £50 Deliveroo voucher.
There are six vouchers to be won in total – two per Faculty. The winners will be selected through a randomised draw.
The vouchers will be randomly chosen by staff and winners will not have a choice of what voucher they receive.
Winners will then be notified by email on or before Friday, 9 June 2023.
Each winner will be contacted by a member of staff from the University to confirm they want to receive the prize and the necessary contact details will be requested. The winner will have 14 working days to confirm they want to receive the prize and to provide the relevant details to the University. If a winner does not provide the relevant details to the University within 14 working days of being notified, the University reserves the right to forfeit the prize and the University shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 14 working days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms and conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the University shall be entitled to select another winner.
Following confirmation, the prize will be sent to the winner within a further 14 working days.
