Running Club with Girls on the Go, All Year

Girls on the Go are a Liverpool community who want to help women connect, get active and make friends. You can join the friendly group  for a run every Saturday and Sunday morning around the Smithdown and Sefton Park area. Runs are free and the Group organise lots of other great events too, including a Book Club.

Free breakfast in Halls, Monday, 22 January

Grab a free hot drink and pastry in your Halls reception on Monday, 22 January to help fuel your revision or exam. Exam Fuel is taking place in Crown Place, Vine Court, Greenbank, Philharmonic and Dover Court.

Steve Rotheram VS Andy Burnham DJ Battle, Friday, 2 February, Camp and Furnace

Mayors Steve Rotheram and Andy Burnham will be taking to the decks on Friday 2 February 2024 at Camp and Furnace, as the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester go head-to-head in a giant charity battle, in aid of homelessness.

The star-studded line-up features Liverpool’s Jamie Webster, singers Rebecca Ferguson and Peter Hooton alongside LFC and England Rapper John Barnes, EFC legend Peter Reid, former Corrie actress Sally Lindsay, M-People’s Heather Small, BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Nihal Arthanayake and presenter Matt White.

Harry Birthday, Camp and Furnace, Saturday, 10 February

Celebrate Harry Styles birthday at Camp and Furnace with live dancers, DJ and street food.

Guild Refreshers Fair, Friday, 2 February

The Refreshers Fair takes place on Friday, 2 February at the Guild. The event is a great opportunity to connect with societies, sports clubs and charities who have volunteering opportunities available. The Guild will also be handing out free goodie bags. The Refreshers Fair isn’t just for new students. It’s for all our students and everyone is very welcome to attend.

Clothing repairs for beginners at Make, Tuesday, 24 January

Head to Make for this free session where you’ll learn how to mend your clothes.

Free Lunchtime Concert on Campus, Dave O’Grady

As part of our free Lunchtime Concert series Dave O’Grady is playing on Wednesday, 1 February. O’Grady will be playing a mix of rock and roll, soul and gospel at the Yoko Ono Centre.

Part-Time Jobs Fair, Wednesday, 14 February

On Wednesday, 14 February there will be a Part-Time Jobs Fair taking place in the Stanley Theatre in the Guild. You’ll be able to talk to employers from a range of sectors about work that can fit around your studies.

Local employers will also be on University Square to talk to you about career opportunities from Monday, 12 February through to Friday, 16 February.

Record Fair at the Bombed Out Church, 31 March

Browse for records at the Bombed Out Church. There will also be food and a bar.

Return of the Gods – World Museum

From Wonder Woman to Hercules our screens are dominated by chiselled superheroes wielding their power – but who inspired these indestructible figures? This family-friendly exhibition dives into ancient Greek and Roman mythology to expose the original ancient characters of the heroes and heroines of our time. Read more about the Return of the Gods exhibition here. As part of our partnership with National Museums Liverpool, you can now visit this and two other Liverpool exhibitions for free for a limited period.
