The Liverpool Chinese Students and Scholars Association (LCSSA) has recently celebrated its 35th anniversary.
LCSSA is an organisation for Chinese student across Liverpool, including those studying at the University of Liverpool. They provide a platform to help Chinese students settle in to their studies and social life in the city, and members come together throughout the year for special academic lectures, sports competitions and cultural celebrations.
Last month, LCSSA hosted a special celebration to mark their 35th anniversary. The event was attended by staff and students from the University, including Professor Gavin Brown, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and Professor Simon Jones, Dean for Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University.
The University has worked closely with LCSSA for many years, helping to foster culture and educational exchanges between China and Liverpool and offering support to students.
If any student is interested in joining LCSSA, please visit the Guild’s website for more information.
