New self-guided development modules for Postgrad Researchers

The Academy is delighted to announce the launch of new online modules to boost your development. These modules work alongside the current in-person and online development sessions offered by the Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) Development Team.

The modules cover:

· Designing Your Development

· Starting Postgraduate Research

· Maintaining Momentum

· Project Planning

· Being a Late Stage PGR

· Writing Your Thesis

· Viva Preparation

What are they?

These short online modules contain information and resources to encourage you to think about different aspects of your PGR journey. They are designed to be accessed by anyone who needs them. There is no right or wrong time to make use of them, and we would encourage you to explore anything which you feel may be useful to you.

How do I access them?

Every PGR can access the Canvas Course “PGR Development”. You will be able to find these modules by clicking the “Module” button on the left-hand menu when you are in the course.

Please take time to bookmark and explore the modules and make use of the other resources available. We will be uploading exclusive recordings and content from our external partners and you can find a variety of information on your Development Needs Analysis (DNA) and other services, such as the Library KnowHow.

If you are unable to access the course, please contact us at researcher@liverpool.ac.uk.
