Guild officer elections open on Monday, 11 March, giving you the opportunity to have your say on who runs the Guild of Students in the next academic year.
30 students have put themselves forward for one of four roles – including Guild President and Student Officer – for 2024/25.
It’s up to students who you decide to elect, and voting opens at 9am on Monday, with polls closing at 2pm on Friday, 15 March.
Your elected officers play a pivotal role in leading the Guild and making decisions which help to improve your university experience and make sure your student voice is heard.
Many of our candidate have published a manifesto, which you can read here ahead of voting.
How to cast your vote
Students can vote on the Guild website, through a link you will be sent to your University email address or in person at the ballot station on Guild Street between 11am and 2pm daily.
The voting system is Single Transferable Vote, which means voters can rank the candidates in order of preference. You can rank as many candidates as you like on the ballot paper. Further guidance is available on the Guild website.
Be sure to have your say on who leads the Guild from July 2024.
