Graduates from the University of Liverpool are among the most sought after by top employers, a recently published study has found.
The Graduate Market in 2024 report surveys 100 of the UK’s largest graduate employers, gaining their views on the graduate labour market, recruitment activity, and industry trends.
This year, Liverpool ranked 20th out of more than 140 universities in the UK when graduate employers were asked which campuses they regularly engaged with to recruit.
The annual report by High Fliers surveys 100 firms that are featured in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers guide, which includes companies such as Accenture, Apple, the BBC, Goldman Sachs, Google, IBM, Teach First, NHS, Tesco, Unilever and the UK Civil Service.
This research, conducted during January 2024, provides an assessment of graduate recruitment in 2023 and looks ahead to how many vacancies are available for new graduates in 2024. It also analyses the latest starting salaries on offer to new graduates, reviews the promotions
employers have been using to publicise their vacancies during the 2023-2024 recruitment
season, and the number of job applications employers have received so far.
