Volunteering offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your CV, expand your network, and develop personal skills, all while making a positive impact on the community.

The Guild of Students presents numerous volunteering options, both on campus and with external organisations.

The summer months are a great time to give something back. Here are some of the current opportunities available:

Leave Liverpool Tidy Champion

Help Leave Liverpool Tidy! Promote mindful consumption and good waste management across campus and Liverpool communities. The Guild’s Leave Liverpool Tidy project needs your help.

In collaboration with the British Heart Foundation, volunteers will be helping to reduce, reuse and recycle our way to a tidier Liverpool.

Volunteer Collection Tin Co-ordinator

St Jospeh’s Hospice are looking for friendly and reliable people to collect and manage their collection tins in their local community. This would include regularly visiting local businesses and swapping full tubs for empty ones.

Children’s summer camp volunteers

Volunteers are needed for 1 week of the summer holiday to help run our respite holidays for disadvantaged children. There are two projects: a residential project and a non-residential project (Hippocampus). For both projects, all meals and accommodation are provided for volunteers.

Photographer

Volunteer to help The Choir With No Name if you are a budding photographer. Take photos at events that they can then use on social media, and in marketing materials sucha s flyers and posters to promote their gigs and events.

Event Volunteer Walk For A Cure Liverpool

Join Walk For A Cure Liverpool as an event volunteer. Walk For A Cure is a series of six 5km fundraising walks across the UK, bringing together everyone impacted by dementia as Alzheimer’s Research UK strive to make a lasting difference for future generations.
