Now that you’ve graduated, we’ve created a helpful checklist to support you as you move from student life to becoming proud University of Liverpool alumni. Here’s everything you need to know:
1. Stay connected
To keep in touch with your long-life alumni community, please:
- Update your contact details here to receive newsletters, event invitations, and the latest updates from the University (please note your University email will expire after graduation)
- Follow us on Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, WeChat (利物浦Uni校友会)and join our LinkedIn group
2. Sign up for your online documents
Don’t forget to sign up for the Graduate Documents Portal to be able to access your digital certificate and Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR).
3. Career support
You can continue to access advice, support, events and exclusive job opportunities after graduation. This includes:
- Continued access to Handshake
- Digital tools and career resources
- Graduate Outcomes survey
- LivUniMentors
- Career Coaches
Complete our short online form to update your contact details and tell us what you’re doing after graduation. We love to hear about your successes too, so let us know if you’ve been offered a graduate job or are moving on to further study. Update your details here.
4. Professional networks
Look at joining one of our alumni networks to make new connections in your field and hear the latest news from your Department or School and your fellow classmates:
- Networks include Vets, Medics, Law, Dentistry and Management
- Get involved, visit: alumni.liv.ac.uk/networks
5. Library access
Excited to graduate, but sad you’re leaving the library behind? Don’t worry! You can get your alumni card to continue access to the University libraries. Read more here.
6. Alumni magazine
Don’t miss out on the latest issue of our Alumni magazine! To receive this directly in your inbox, make sure you’ve updated your contact details and email preferences online.
7. StageClip moment
The moment you graduate will be captured in a personalised, shareable clip. Look out for an email from StageClip after graduation to download your special memory.
