Tickets for Guild events are now on sale and can you find out more on their website.

Ready for our countdown? Here we go…

1. Discover Day for mature, commuter and Widening Participation students

Friday, 13 September, from 10am – 4pm, Management School

Held at the Management School, this is a chance for mature, commuter and Widening Participation students to join us on campus a little earlier than other new students so you can get your bearings and enjoy a less busy introduction to Welcome. There will be faculty tours, meet and chat sessions and a chance to connect with your peers ahead of Welcome Week. Students eligible for Discover Day should have received an invitation from the University inviting you to register. (Please note that early Welcome for international students is being held on the same day at the Central Teaching Hub).

2. Welcome Party

Sunday, 15 September, from 8pm – 1am in Mountford Hall

Join your Guild of Students for their annual Welcome Party! It’s the perfect way to kickstart your Welcome Week. Acts include Jimmy DJ and ABBA Revival. There’s a free bus service running from Smithdown Road, starting at 7:30pm and a pre-meet event to meet other students before you all head into the party together. This is a free, non-ticketed event.
