From 18–22 November, the University of Liverpool will be celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week 2025 (GEW) with a dynamic line-up of events.
Throughout the week, we’ll be highlighting entrepreneurial success stories from our students and graduates and showcasing the support and opportunities available to all aspiring entrepreneurs at the University.
Launch event: Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise
Kick off GEW with our inspiring launch event on Tuesday 19 November! Join us to celebrate the grand opening of the University’s new Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise for students and graduates.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Enterprise Magazine, which highlights stories of student and graduate entrepreneurs and the ways our Enterprise team has supported their journeys. This publication will be an inspiring showcase of innovation and drive across our student community.
We’re also launching a new edition of our Entrepreneur Magazine, a celebration of incredible University of Liverpool entrepreneurs. This year’s edition showcases the creativity, resilience, and ambition of our student and graduate entrepreneurs—proving that the future starts here, on campus. Click here to read the magazine.

Entrepreneurs monthly meet-up
Don’t miss the second Entrepreneurs Monthly Meet-Up on Thursday 21 November, from 5:30–7:30 pm. This session, in collaboration with Generative Minds, will focus on AI in business.
Featured speakers include:
- Alex Kyter, University of Liverpool graduate and founder of Generative Minds, who will share his journey in AI and introduce his new SaaS product, Generative Conversations
- Adam Galloway of Lola, who will discuss AI and health tech
- Vipashyana Srivastava and Ashish Sandhu, University of Liverpool graduates and founders of Scholar Saver, an AI-driven start-up supported by the University and the Liverpool City Region (LCR)
