Careers and alumni support for graduates

Graduates

If you’re graduating in December then you will soon be part of a global family of more than 280,000 University of Liverpool alumni.

We want you to know that graduation isn’t a goodbye. We’re here for you in the future, and would love to stay in touch.

Your alumni network

There are 35 alumni associations and networks to help you to retain your link to Liverpool, wherever you are in the world.

Our networks are co-ordinated by alumni volunteers who develop local networks, organise events, and help alumni in their community to maintain a lifelong connection with the University.

There are also a number of social groups and meet up with fellow alumni, as well as academic-related alumni groups to make new connections in your field, hear the latest news from your Department or School and your fellow classmates.

Discounts and resources

As a member of our alumni community you also qualify for some special benefits, including access to the University’s online and on campus library resources, and professional and leisure discounts – plus discounted rates on short courses and postgraduate degrees at our Liverpool campus.

Visit our webpages for recent graduates to find out more.

Considering further study?

A master’s degree can really help your jobs prospects in the future, and if you’re interested in research then a master’s degree is often a prerequisite for a PhD too.

In the run up to graduation, our admissions team will be offering drop-in sessions every Wednesday afternoon from1-4pm in the Career Studio.

You can drop-in to chat to the team and get your application form for postgraduate study checked in the Career Studio (D7 on the campus map).
