From 24 to 28 February, get involved with Sustainability Week, part of Feel Good February, take part in student-focused initiatives on topics like climate action, ethical living, and wellbeing.

Sustainability Fair – Wed 26th Feb, 11am-3pm, Guild (Stanley Theatre)

Don’t miss the flagship event of Sustainability Week 2025. Explore sustainability in action and meet researchers, student groups, and experts tackling issues like digital sustainability, net-zero innovation, and ethical consumption. Try interactive activities, connect with student-led initiatives, and discover how you can make a difference:

Interdisciplinary Centre for Sustainability Research (ICSR) Launch – Wed 26 Feb, 4:30-6pm, 502 Teaching Hub

Join Vice-Chancellor Professor Tim Jones and ICSR Director Professor Katie Atkinson to celebrate the launch of a new hub for sustainability research. Special guest Dr. Juan Bernabé-Moreno from IBM Research Europe will discuss real-world sustainability solutions.

Film Screening: X Trillion – 5-7pm / Tuesday 25 February 2025 / Venue: MBA Suite Brett Building

A gripping documentary on plastic pollution, followed by a discussion with experts and a hands-on workshop turning waste into new creations. Light refreshments provided.

Guild Swap Shop – 10am – 4pm / Tuesday 25 February 2025 / Venue: Guild Street Liverpool Guild of Students

Refresh your wardrobe sustainably by swapping clothes instead of buying new. Save money and reduce waste!

BIG Campus Litter Pick – 2 – 4pm / Thursday 27 February 2025 / Venue: Meet outside Guild
