It’s essential though that you park your scooter responsibly, so it doesn’t become a trip hazard or barrier to anyone with visual impairments or limited accessibility.
When you’re parking your Voi on campus, please ensure you:
- Check surroundings to make sure you’re not blocking a pedestrian walkway, cycle lane or building entrance
- Park up parallel to a walk, so the scooter isn’t protruding out onto a walkway
- Use the kickstand so the scooter stays upright
- Pay attention to Voi’s designated parking zones which are indicated in your Voi app (here’s what the different coloured zones mean)
We want to keep campus safe for anyone and you’ll be making a massive contribution by parking your scooter properly.
If you’re concerned about an incorrectly parked scooter you can report it online.
