Explore your ideas during Global Entrepreneurship Week

Enterprise Students

Global Entrepreneurship Week is here, and the Sir Peter Rigby Centre for Enterprise located within the Career Studio is preparing for a full programme of events designed to spark new ideas, conversations and opportunities for students interested in enterprise.

Here’s a taste of what’s coming up:

  • Entrepreneurs in Residence– connect with inspiring entrepreneurs and founders for personalised advice, insights, and encouragement.
  • Enterprise Drop-in– stop by for an informal chat with our team about your ideas, next steps, or upcoming opportunities.
  • Freelancer Panel & Networking Event  – meet other creatives, share experiences, and discover how to build a strong personal brand.
  • Branding Workshop– learn what makes a brand stand out and how to create one that’s memorable and authentic.
  • Maker Space on Tour– a follow up event to get hands-on with prototyping tools, explore design thinking, and bring your ideas to life.

Be inspired

To mark the week, the University is launching The Entrepreneur, a new student-focused magazine that highlights Liverpool-grown ideas, real student journeys and insights from founders who started exactly where you are now. The publication aims to inspire curiosity, confidence and early exploration, whatever stage you are at.

Apply for our Enterprise Fund

If you have a business idea or an early-stage enterprise, don’t miss the chance to apply to our Enterprise Fund offering awards from £500 to £5,000 to help University of Liverpool students and graduates take their ventures to the next level.
