If you’re one of our new postgraduate students this January, we’re excited to welcome you to the University.
By now, you should be getting set to begin your studies and start life here in Liverpool. If you still have a few things to tick off, you can revisit everything you need to do on our Welcome: Getting Ready webpage.
If you’re an international student, you’ll need to complete your international registration on campus. You will have received a separate email with details on how to book an in-person appointment, so please check your inbox if you haven’t arranged this yet.
To help you make the most of what’s ahead, we’ve pulled together a overview of what’s coming up to help you settle in.
Some highlights for your diary
- Guild Refreshers Fair: The Refreshers Fair takes place on Friday, 30 January at the Guild and is a great opportunity to connect with societies and find out what the Guild has to offer this semester. You can also pick up a free goodie bag. There’s a quiet hour between 9 and 10am if you prefer a quieter, more relaxed browse.
- Part-time Jobs Fair: On Wednesday, 11 February (11am – 2pm) there will be a Part-time Jobs Fair in Mountford Hall. You’ll be able to talk to employers from a range of sectors about work that can fit around your studies. You can find out more on Handshake – our dedicated careers platform, which you can sign up to via our website.
- We are also looking forward to hosting our annual Feel Good February events programme, which will include a range of wellbeing-themed events throughout the month. You can find out more on the Feel Good February webpages.
