Get up and go is the theme for the third week of Feel Good February (16-20 Feb) and Active Liverpool is putting on a special programme offering free classes to students as well as ways to meet new people through sport.
Whether you want to move more, try a new sport (or come along to enjoy one you already do), make some new connections, or take time for yourself, Active Liverpool has a range of options for you to pick and choose from.
Please note that we’ve indicated where booking is required, to avoid disappointment.

Buddy up
🫶 Join our Buddy Scheme every Sunday at 10am – a friendly, supportive way to get active and meet others.
Our new member scheme is designed to help you find a training partner, build confidence and stay motivated.
Each week includes:
- A 40-minute instructor led workout from 10am – 10:40am
- A mini induction to improve knowledge and confidence on all equipment
- A short workout focusing on a different area of fitness
- Time to chat, connect, and meet other members
Over the 4-week rotation, you’ll be introduced to different training styles and spaces, helping you feel more confident and comfortable in the gym. To keep the momentum going, members can also join a Buddy Up WhatsApp group – a great place to plan sessions, arrange workouts, and stay connected between visits.
Reserve your place now, spaces are limited.
Men’s support workshops
We offer a welcoming, non-judgemental space where men can talk openly, feel heard, and support one another without pressure, fixing, or advice. Just listening, respect, and shared presence.
- Thursday, 26 February, 6–7pm
