Staying at University over the Christmas break

Christmas tree with lights

As the festive season approaches, you’ll likely be ready for a well-deserved break. If you’re staying on campus or in your student home, it’s a good idea to plan ahead and explore what’s on offer for you.

Staying in halls

If you’re a Halls resident, you can stay in your accommodation for the Christmas break. If you will be staying in Halls between 23 December and 3 January please be sure to email your Hall reception team to let them know – you can find their email addresses on the Halls Life pages.

Your Hall reception will continue to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including Christmas Day and New Year), meaning that a member of your reception team will be around at all times no matter what you need help with.

Your Halls Residential Advisers (RAs) will on hand each night throughout the festive period. If you need any help or advice, no matter the time of day, please feel free to reach out and contact them using the contact numbers provided on this page under ‘contact details for specific teams’.

There’s more information on staying in Halls over the break on the Halls’ Team webpages.
