This week, we’re all about getting active and feeling great with our sports and fitness facilities. Whether you’re looking to hit the gym, try a new sport, or just have fun with friends, we’ve got plenty of ways to get moving – for FREE!

Free Access Fridays

Every Friday in February, you get free access to our sports facilities. That means no cost, all gain!

  • Gym workouts
  • Swimming pool sessions
  • Fitness classes (why not try something new?)
  • Climbing wall – challenge yourself

The next sessions take place on 21 and 28 February at the Sports & Fitness Centre. Just complete a quick free access form & online health check before your first session.

So grab your mates, shake off the week, and end it on a high!

Turn Up and Play

Want to try a sport but don’t want to commit? Turn Up and Play sessions are made for you.

Blitzball, Pickleball, Futsal…and more!

It’s completely free, open to all, and a great way to meet new people, stay active, and have fun on your own schedule. Check out what’s on here.

BRIT Challenge 2025 – Target 25

We’re taking on the BRIT Challenge again – and this year, our goal is to become the most active university in the UK!

The challenge is simple:

  • Choose your activity (walking, running, cycling, swimming – whatever works for you!)
  • Set a goal based around 25 (minutes, miles, reps – you decide!)
  • Go solo or team up with friends
  • Log your progress and be part of something big!

Start date: Monday 17 February – get involved today!

Run for All – Join the Movement!

Looking for a fun, supportive way to get into running? Our Run for All group is the perfect place to start!

Led by Liverpool LMS running leaders, these weekly social runs help you:

  • Boost your physical & mental well-being
  • Relieve exam stress
  • Make new friends
  • Improve your running fitness

It’s free, friendly, and open to all – whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned runner.
