The biggest showdown in our university sports calendar is back! Varsity 2025 kicks off this week. Starting Monday, March 31st, running through to Wednesday, April 2nd, as we take on Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) once again in an epic battle for glory.
With competitions taking place across the city—including Wyncote, Greenbank, Wavertree Tennis Centre, Waterloo Rugby Club, and both universities’ sports facilities—this year’s Varsity promises to be an unmissable event.
Chasing a Historic Ten-Year Streak
This year, the stakes are even higher. Liverpool University is on the verge of securing a full decade of Varsity dominance over LJMU—a milestone that would cement our legacy. Last year, we triumphed with a 102-72 victory, and in 2025, we’re aiming to go even bigger.
