The Guild has over 200 societies where you can meet people who share your interests. Whether you’re looking to bond over a hobby, try something new, or just find your crowd, there’s a society for you.

If you haven’t quite found your group yet, don’t worry—you’re definitely not alone. Joining a society is one of the best ways to expand your social circle in a fun, low-pressure environment.

American Sport Appreciation Society

This is a society that brings people together for great nights out and appreciate American sports. We host socials including pub crawls, games nights (e.g pool night) and watch the games when they appear. This society gives you plenty of chances to meet people and appreciate American sports.

If Your a fan of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, or any other American sports, we will also be watching the games together. Whether you are a big fan or just getting into the games everyone is welcome. Come for the sports and join in on the socials, join us to be part of a great society.

English Society

Our society aims to provide a safe and social space for like-minded students, looking for something fun to do outside of the course.

We as English Society aim to bring together students of English (or who just love literature/language) to create a community for socialising, sharing ideas or simply just support. We aim to bring together like-minded students to collect ideas about what members would like to see from their society and provide some extra fun outside of the course.

Gaming Society

Hey! Welcome to the University of Liverpool’s Gaming Society. We offer a space for both causal and Esports gaming. We welcome all skill levels from beginner to pro!

We’ll be hosting weekly meetups and mini competitions where you can chat and play against each other. Looking for something a bit more competitive? We also have various e-sports teams to join!

Liverpool Engineering Society

The Liverpool Engineers Society is the largest academic society at the University of Liverpool. We are a student-led society that aims to enhance your time studying Engineering at Liverpool.

We aim to further your university experience both socially and academically. We hold frequent social and networking events, winter and summer formals, trips and promote graduate and placement opportunities to give our members the best chance at securing and succeeding at their dream jobs. We cover Aerospace, Architectural, Avionics, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical disciplines and Industrial design.

Welcome to Pole and Aerial Dance Society! We offer weekly classes to build skill, strength, confidence and friendships whilst learning Pole, Aerial Hoop and Flexibility.

You do not have to have any experience, strength, flexibility or a certain body type – we are for everyone. Our instructors are super friendly, supportive and talented so don’t miss the chance to make the most of this opportunity!
