The time has come for you to have your say on who leads the Guild as your Student Officer Team for the next academic year.
Student Officer elections are taking place next week and it’s your chance to decide who takes on the role and represents you. 21 candidates are in the running to be your next Guild President, and the power is in your hands. Voting is open from 9am, Monday 9 March until 2pm Friday 13 March.
Everything you need to know about Student Officer Elections
💚 Four Student Officers are elected each year to lead the Guild. These are full-time roles and the team works closely with University Senior Leadership team to represent students on campus.
📣 Previous Officer teams have coordinated a Reclaim the Night march with other Liverpool Student Unions, introduced access to free sexual health products on campus and worked with the University to establish self-certification for exemptions for Late Penalties.
💡 All candidates run on a manifesto over ideas to improve your university experience and are elected by a campus-wide vote.
🗳️ The election uses a Single Transferable Vote system, meaning you can rank as many candidates as you like to maximise your vote.
