4 terrifying Halloween events you don’t want to miss – 2019

As ghouls, ghosts and other terrifying things descend on our city this month, we’re rounding up some of the best events taking place in and around Liverpool this Halloween.

1. Halloween floating pop up cinema

Until 1 November enjoy your favourite Halloween movies whilst floating on the Albert Dock!

Showings include family classics; Hocus Pocus, Casper, Adams Family and Beetlejuice. If you’re after something a little spookier, head to one of the adult only evening screenings including Rocky Horror Picture Show, Scream, Psycho and Nightmare on Elm Street.

2. Farmageddon

Dubbed the ‘fear farm’, Farmageddon is a truly terrifying experience. If you manage to get tickets, you’ll be chased through four scare houses by seasoned scare actors and have to navigate your way round movie-grade special effects.

3. Lost at the Freakshow: Camp and Furnace

Spend your Halloween at ‘the freakshow’, as Camp and Furnace is transformed for this special event. There’ll be circus performers, face painters, an interactive theatre, as well as two rooms of music to cover most tastes. Dress code: the freakier the better!
