The sun has been shining on University of Liverpool’s fantastic graduands and graduates this week, with Abercromby Square the hub for celebratory drinks and photos.
Today sees successful students from our faculties of Science and Engineering (SE), and Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) take to the Philharmonic stage, following their peers from HSS and the the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences on Monday and Tuesday.
We also bestow Honorary Degrees on Frances Crook OBE and His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols.
Let’s hope the sunshine continues!
The award-winning Liverpool Guild of Students is bustling. It’s the place to pick up robes, buy mementos and meet friends.
A short walk from the Philharmonic, stunning Abercromby Square is open all day.
Inside the Abercromby Square marquee, ceremonies are broadcast live on multiple screens. A string quartet adds to the atmosphere.
There’s also plenty of refreshments
With the sun shining bright, it’s the perfect place to relax after the ceremony
And a great spot for photos
Or a moment to take it all in
