Management School in The Economist WhichMBA? global rankings for full-time MBA programmes

University of Liverpool Management School is one of only 13 UK based institutions to make it into The Economist WhichMBA? global rankings for full-time MBA programmes.

The Management School, which first entered the 100 strong list of elite schools in 2015, has retained its position in a table dominated by American colleges.

Topping the rankings is University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, followed by Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

The top UK school, according to the table, is University of Warwick’s Warwick Business School, which sits 20th in the overall list.

University of Liverpool’s Management School was rated in top 50 globally for the diversity of its recruiters, student assessment of the careers service and student quality.

It is one of only four institutions in the North of England to make the list, alongside York University, Durham University and Lancaster University.

Management School Director, Professor Julia Balogun said: “The Management School is thrilled that our full-time MBA Programme is, once again, ranked by The Economist.

“It puts our MBA among elite company and clearly shows the strength of our MBA programme, the calibre of those who graduate and the career ambitions they are able to fulfil.”

The other UK institutions to make the list, in descending order, are London Business School, University of Bath, University of Cambridge, University of Edinburgh Business School, University of Strathclyde, University of Nottingham, University of Oxford and University of Birmingham.
