Three things you can do during National Student Money Week 2019

National Student Money Week University of Liverpool

It’s National Student Money Week (Monday, 4 February – Friday, 8 February) and this year we’re trying to help you break bad money habits.

During the week, we’re going to provide tips and advice on how you can break expensive habits around things like buying lunches, ordering takeaways and going to coffee shops.

Here are three ways you can get involved:

1. Visit our stall

Our Money Advice and Guidance service will have a stall in the Alsop Building all week.

Visit the stall for some friendly advice and to pick up your free gifts.

2. Speak to one of our advisers

Throughout the year, the University’s Money Advice and Guidance service run a drop-in service. You can use the session to speak with a trained adviser about anything relating to finances, budgeting or debt.

Sessions are held every weekday (except for Friday) between 2pm and 3:30pm in the Alsop Building.

3. Book onto a budgeting workshop

If you’d like to learn more about budgeting, you can attend our workshops via Know How. It’s taking palce at 2pm on Tuesday, 5 February.

During the workshop we’ll talk about budget planning and we’ll also discuss spending habits.
