Ahead of next week’s Postgraduate Researcher Week, research students are being encouraged to register for a number of research-focussed events and workshops.
Taking place between Monday, 11 March and Friday, 15 March Postgraduate Researcher Week is the ideal opportunity for postgraduate researchers to meet up with other research students from across campus and share their experiences, while learning more about the training and development opportunities available to them as a postgraduate student at the University.
Postgraduate Researcher Week is for all postgraduate research students, not just first years, and has a variety of sessions for postgraduate researchers at whatever stage of their PhD.

A range of sessions will be running throughout the week, including advice and guidance from the Liverpool Doctoral College Development team, training sessions, networking events and social activities.
Sessions include:
- Becoming a mindful researcher
- How to deliver a great talk
- Writing for The Conversation (Meet the Editor)
- Planning your Final Year
- Taking ownership of your PhD
- Viva Survivor
