Undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary students are being invited to attend a three-day congress event in Liverpool this autumn.

The European Veterinary Dermatology Congress, co-organised by the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology and by the European College of Veterinary Dermatology, will be held at Liverpool’s Arena and Convention Centre from 26th – 28th September 2019.

Attended by specialist vets, general practitioners, vet students, vet nurses and anybody with an interest in veterinary dermatology, the congress gives attendees access to practical, advanced and cutting edge programmes, a clinicopathological conference and, for the first time, a dedicated nursing stream on the 28th September. There is also an exciting social programme.

A large exhibition area will give students the opportunity to read about scientific studies, meet pharmaceutical and vet tech companies, and learn about their products.

Commenting on the event, Senior Lecturer in Veterinary Dermatology, Laura Buckley said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to further their education. It offers the chance to experience the delivery of practical and cutting edge evidence-based veterinary dermatology in an environment where you can meet general practitioners, residents and specialists from across Europe.”

Discounted early bird registration is available on or before June 30th. Nurses can register for 250 euros for the entire conference or just 100 euros for the nurse’s day.

Registration includes:

  • Admission to all scientific sessions
  • Admission to the exhibition and poster area
  • Congress bag
  • Lunches for the three days
  • Coffee breaks with snacks
  • Welcome reception (social event in Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral)
