Sport Liverpool is offering all University of Liverpool and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) students free access to the gym and swimming pool on World Mental Health Day.
Exercise can help keep your body healthy and evidence shows it can also improve your mental wellbeing by alleviating stress or anxiety, and giving you a positive mind set.
The offer is available on Thursday, 10 October from 7am – 11am and 2pm – 4pm.
To access the offer, all you need to do is head over to the Sport Liverpool reception desk on campus and register there.
For more information, please visit Sport Liverpool’s webpages or get in contact with the Sports Centre reception on 0151 794 3307.
Over the next few weeks we will be encouraging all students to try out the NHS’s Five Steps to Mental Wellbeing. Keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts as well as our Student News pages for ideas around how you can get involved.
