Address: St John’s Shopping Centre, Liverpool, L1 1LY

6. Christmas pantomimes

There are a multitude of pantomimes running throughout Liverpool to get you in the Christmas spirit! From traditional pantomimes for all the family such as Peter Pan, to Christmas Queens hosted by a ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ winner, there is something for everyone. Find out more here.

7. Christmas floating cinema at the Royal Albert Dock

Nothing screams Christmas like snuggling up to a festive movie with a hot chocolate in hand. The Royal Albert Dock is hosting a floating cinema, where mulled wine, festive treats and blankets will be available. Films including Elf, Love Actually, The Grinch and Home Alone are set to be screened throughout this festive season. Tickets are available from Skiddle.

8. Flat Christmas

A great way to spend the Christmas season is at home with your flatmates! Spend the day blasting Christmas tunes and decorating the flat. Put on some festive films and bake some cookies or even have a gingerbread house competition! This is a great way to bond with your flatmates, as well as having a cheap and cheerful day!

9. 16ft Santa at the Museum of Liverpool

Here at Liverpool we like to do things big! As well as the 30 meter high Christmas tree at Liverpool ONE, there is a 16ft Santa at the Museum of Liverpool! The Santa was originally used in 1957 in Blackler’s department store, and underwent a massive transformation before heading to the museum in 2016. The statue has now returned and can be found in the lobby of the museum.
