Student Officer Elections: The candidates

The time has come for students to choose who leads Liverpool Guild of Students as the Officer Team for 2021/22.

The next four-strong team will lead the organisation and be the voice of over 26,000 students for a year from August.

There are no job applications or interviews for these posts – they are filled each year through student votes in the Student Officer Elections, which are taking place this year from 19th – 23rd April.

The Officer role involves acting as a voice for University of Liverpool students by getting involved in University Committees, planning and running campaigns, and supporting activities on campus.

Former elected Student Officers have made significant changes on campus – each with the aim of making the University a better place for its students.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have your say and make a real different to campus life.

Vote on new name for former Gladstone Hall of Residence

This year, students will also get the opportunity to vote on a new name for the University’s former Gladstone Hall of Residence. The vote, which follows a lengthy nomination and shortlisting process, is being run alongside the Student Officer Elections and gives current University of Liverpool students an opportunity to take part in shaping the University campus.

Voting opens at 9am on Monday, 19 April and closes at 2pm on Friday, 23 April.
