The Community will be for all students at the University. We’ll post to the Community a couple of times a month about:
- Upcoming events you might like
- New volunteer opportunities
- University news and updates

There are several groups on social media claiming to be ‘official’ University accounts. Treat invites with caution. We will only invite you to join official University accounts or communities, like Unibuddy or our WhatsApp Community, via the University’s central social media accounts, from an liverpool.ac.uk email address, on Student News or Unibuddy.

Join the WhatsApp Community
We’ll share details about the WhatsApp Community on Student News, via the University’s official social media accounts and via the Unibuddy app. We might send you an email too. However, remember, the email invite would always come from an official Liverpool.ac.uk account.
You’ll need to have downloaded WhatsApp in order to join the Community.
Things to know
Joining our University WhatsApp Community is optional. Any essential information about University will be shared with you on other channels.
Only Community Admins can see your details in the community and only Community Admins will be able to post to the Community. You can leave the community at any time by clicking on the name at the top of your screen and selecting ‘Exit Group’.
Remember, we won’t be able to respond to messages or receive calls on this number. The account is not monitored. If you have a question or need help, you might be able to find the right team to help here or by getting in touch with your School using the School Office Contacts page.
