Monday

  • If you’re going to be in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences or the Faculty of Science and Engineering, your Welcome Talk is taking place on Monday in the Mountford Hall (within the Guild).
  • Make the most of the Abercromby Wellbeing Zone, including live music and Meet the Teams from the University at pop ups across campus

Tuesday

  • If you’re going to be in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, your Welcome Talk takes place on Tuesday in the Mountford Hall (within the Guild).
  • As well as the Abercromby Wellbeing Zone and Meet the Teams, you can visit Taylor Square from Monday to Wednesday for food freebies and enjoy the delights of the food market on University Square

Wednesday

It’s your last chance to make the most of food giveaways in Taylor Square and live music in Abercromby Square. Plus you might be getting ready for a big night of Bingo, as the Guild host Bongo Bingo’s Country Special (ticketed).

Thursday and Friday

These are big days on campus 😊. Across two days students will be able to visit the Sports Fair (in Sport Liverpool) and Guild Fair (in Mountford Hall).

  • Thursday’s fair is all about meeting your favourite student brands, bagging loads of freebies and getting to know the Guild. It’s not to be missed.
  • Get yourself back to the Guild on Friday for day two of your Welcome Fair and meet all your societies, hear about what they’ve got planned for the year and grab even more freebies

All week

  • Confirm your engagement: If you don’t confirm your engagement, you won’t be a fully registered student at the University. Around nine days before your programme starts you will be sent an email that will ask you to confirm your engagement via Liverpool Life. If you’re a student who will study on University campus, you will need to confirm your engagement from a PC connected to the University network.
  • Collect your Student ID card:
    *UK students who upload their ID card by Friday, 6 September will be able to collect their card from their school during Welcome Week, anyone who uploaded their card after Friday, 6 September must wait four days after completion then collect from the Here to Help Hub (Central Teaching Hub
    *International students who upload their ID card by Friday, 6 September can collect their card from the Here to Help Hub during Welcome Week (from Sunday, 15 September) but must book an appointment to do so. Anyone who uploaded their ID card after Friday, 6 September must wait four days after completion and collect their card from the Here to Help Hub during Welcome Week but must book an appointment to do so.
  • If you have a question during Welcome, the Here to Help Hub is the place to go, it’s based in the Central Teaching Hub.
  • International students requiring help with their visa should also visit the Here to Help Hub.
