Changes to the 699 Bus Service have been announced that take effect from Monday 12 October for two weeks. The main updates to the timetable are:
Daytime Service
- From Monday 12th October the service will run every 30 minutes during the daytime
- Monday – Friday the first bus will leave at 8am and then every half hour until 5.30pm
- On Saturday and Sunday the first bus will be at 10.30am until 5.30pm
- This service will be run by Happy Al’s, rather than Arriva.
Evening Service
- Monday – Friday, from 5.30pm the Arriva 699 service will operate as usual, every 20 minutes until 11pm
- Saturday and Sunday, from 5.55pm the Arriva 699 will operate as usual, every 20 minutes until 11pm
The daytime service will be free of charge and whilst this service alteration is in place. You will continue to need your bus pass for boarding Arriva buses in the evening over this period.
