Join an 8-week wellbeing and mental health Zine-making workshop

Students socialising together

Starting from next Thursday, 8 February, you’re invited to join an 8-week Turn the Page Zine-making workshop focusing on mental health and wellbeing at university.

This is an opportunity to collaborate with local youth arts charity, Comics Youth, to learn how to produce and publish a collaborative zine. This will become a free resource that will be available on campus for you and your fellow students to support your wellbeing. No previous experience or artistic talent is required, you’ll receive all the training and guidance you’ll need during the workshops.

Sessions will run every Thursday, 4-6pm, for 8 weeks, meeting in the Guild reception area. To get involved, or just find out more, send a quick email to advice@liverpool.ac.uk.

More about Comics Youth

Comics Youth was founded in 2015 and is a creative community organisation led by young people, for young people. Their aim is to empower youth across Merseyside to flourish from the margins of society: harnessing their own narratives, finding confidence within an inclusive community, and developing the resilience to succeed on their own path.
